BISA continues to empower women in local communities on breast cancer and breast implant safety with the 2nd "Knowledge is Beautiful" Awareness Event in Oregon.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the 2nd Annual “Knowledge is Beautiful” Awareness & Fundraiser Event is being held on Wednesday, October 16th in Bend, Oregon led by women's health advocate Sherri Gorbett.

BISA Founder Maria Gmitro and VP Sarah Beckcom attended the Women's Health Innovation Summit with over 600 attendees, 30+ investors and 3 days of phenomenal content focused on addressing the unique health needs of women.

Maria Gmitro, BISA’s President & Founder, was interviewed on Charleston’s Lowcountry Live to discuss breast implant safety, breast implant cancers and to promote the breast cancer wellness event at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).

On October 12th, during Breast Cancer Awareness month, BISA’s Sherri Gorbett hopes to empower women with her fashion show event in Oregon to raise awareness about breast cancer and breast implant safety.
