BISA Announces 2nd Annual “Knowledge is Beautiful” Awareness & Fundraiser Event 2024
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the 2nd Annual “Knowledge is Beautiful” Awareness & Fundraiser Event is being held on Wednesday, October 16th in Bend, Oregon to raise awareness about breast cancer and breast implant safety.
The fundraiser is led by women’s health advocate, currently United States of America Mrs. West Coast 2025, Sherri Gorbett. Sherri serves on the board of directors for Breast Implant Safety Alliance (BISA) Nonprofit and recently became involved with pageants to promote women’s health issues. Sherri made pageant history as the first-ever contestant to talk about breast implant safety and awareness. Because of Sherri's work, all of America’s pageantry has heard of our mission. You can read more about her in our Advocate Spotlight on Sherri Gorbett.
