“Harmless, My Implants?” A New Documentary on Breast Implant Safety

On December 1 a powerful and eye opening documentary titled Harmless My Implants? premiered on ICI TÉLÉ and on the streaming service ICI TOU.TV. The film features physician Isabelle Gaston, who speaks candidly about her own experience and the wider injustice of never being warned that her implants from Allergan might increase her risk of cancer.

In the documentary Dr. Gaston describes not only the medical risks but also the emotional and systemic harm that occur when patients are left uninformed. She shares her personal journey, which underscores how crucial transparency is in matters of womens health and implant safety.

Beyond her story the film includes footage from a gathering in Tampa of survivors of BIA-ALCL and advocates from BISA recorded during the 2025 BIA-ALCL World Conference. This segment offers a powerful view of community, solidarity, and the collective demand for accountability and awareness.

As of now the documentary is available only in French. Many viewers especially those who speak English are hoping it will be translated soon to help broaden public awareness.

If you are concerned about breast implant safety this documentary deserves your attention and sharing.
