There has been some confusion regarding the Breast Surgery Collaborative Community (BSCC) consensus document and a separate statement issued by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and The Aesthetic Society (ASAPS). To ensure clarity, BISA is providing this explanation to differentiate between the official BSCC work product and the joint statement released by the plastic surgery societies.
