Sybil Niden Goldrich stands as a prominent figure in the realm of women's health advocacy, particularly concerning breast implants. She underwent breast implant surgery four times between 1983 and 1984.

Her journey began in 1987 amid her own struggles as a cancer patient who received breast implants post-bilateral mastectomy. She faced numerous complications, including capsular contracture, rupture, silicone migration, and necrosis. Notably, she discovered her implants had never received approval from the FDA.

In 1984, Sybil opted for natural tissue transfer to remove the implants. Post-explantation, she found satisfaction with her natural tissue reconstruction and embarked on a journey of advocacy. Sybil’s experience and investigation led her to publish the eye-opening article "Restoration Drama" in Ms. magazine in 1988.

Sybil co-founded the Command Trust Network, where she has been instrumental in providing crucial information to women about breast implants and silicone — filling the gaps where such information was scarce. She tirelessly engaged with the media to ensure accurate dissemination of facts.

Additionally, she collaborated closely with policymakers like Congressman Ted Weiss to push for regulatory oversight and improved healthcare standards. Sybil's advocacy efforts have extended to numerous testimonies before legislative bodies and regulatory agencies, earning her recognition as a leading expert on the subject.

Sybil co-authors the blog "Beauty and the Breast" with actress Mary Elizabeth McDonough, sharing insights and updates on breast implant-related issues. Her influence reaches far and wide, as she remains a sought-after source by print media and television networks alike, appearing on platforms such as Good Morning America, CNN, and Oprah.

Through her relentless advocacy and unwavering commitment, Sybil Niden Goldrich continues to champion the rights and well-being of women affected by breast implant complications. Currently serving on the Claimants' Advisory Committee for the Dow Corning Bankruptcy, Sybil tirelessly advocates for compensation and support for women impacted by breast implant-related issues, ensuring their voices are heard in today's landscape of women's health and safety.
