OASH National Women's Health Week

May focuses on women’s health in an important way, thanks to a dedicated week of programming from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

National Women’s Health Week, sponsored by the Office on Women’s Health (OWH), will be recognized from May 12 to 18, 2024. The week aims to spotlight and prioritize women’s health issues, from physical to mental and emotional well-being.

Though breast implants and other medical devices aren’t a part of the 2024 conference agenda, BISA Nonprofit is incredibly grateful for the programming and efforts to encourage empowerment among patients.

We hope to advocate for a feature day of breast implant awareness in the future!

Empowering Women, Cultivating Health:
Celebrating Voices, Wellness, and Resilience

Interested? Please consider attending this year’s event with the theme of empowerment:

According to the OASH website, “This year’s theme is dedicated to empowering women to take charge of their health journeys and shining a light on health issues unique to women. We’re celebrating the strength and determination of women who have taken control of their health and fostering an environment where all women feel supported and empowered to speak up about their health needs and concerns. The NWHW 2024 messaging encourages women to engage in healthy practices, access preventive care, and share their health experiences to inspire others. “
