Hosted by the Federation of American Scientists (FAS) the Advisory Committees for the 21st Century Briefing is being held on September 23, 2024. This all-day conference will bring together experts, policymakers, and key stakeholders to discuss the current Advisory Committee (AdComm) ecosystem, understand the landscape of possible reforms and key opportunities for collaboration, and hear about the experiences of experts involved in the AdComm process. The goal of this event is to encourage robust discussion surrounding the area of Advisory Committee reform and create a vision for how the FDA and other federal agencies can better engage external scientific experts and the public to address critical policy and regulatory decisions.
